Race Analysis

This was only an average race but BATTLE AXE was rewarded for some consistent form with a win. The winner won easily and will have claims in similar handicaps.

COCHISE looks limited but can still win a handicap chase while a similar comment applies to CARPENTER JACK.

MISTER BUTTONS made a mistake four out but looks fully exposed while MICK FINAN was weakening when making a mistake three out.

MILORD JONES is a maiden in all codes but may pick up a similar chase at some stage.

TWOFAN looked well enough treated, relative to his hurdle form, but never looked like winning. He does not look a reliable sort but may pick up a handicap chase.
